Our Learn to Grow Your Own Microgreens Workshop is underway. The seeds have been planted and have gone through a 24-hour weighted period. Here are the results so far:
Marcus

Even though I missed a step, my Cressida is coming along nicely. I moved my tray to the blackout period.
Starfly

Starfly's Spicey Mix is doing well and is moving to the blackout period.
Ava

Ava's Arugula was starting to poke out the sides!

Here is a good example of root hairs.

Her tray is ready for the blackout period.
Bev

Bev's Spicey Mix is looking good and is starting the blackout period.
Kate

Kate's Cantaloupe has not sprouted yet. This is typical for Cantaloupe.
Kris

Kris' Cressida is ready for the blackout period.
Ingrid

Ingrid's Arugula is ready for blackout.
Cari

Cari's Kohlrabi wasn't quite to the point of switching over to the blackout period so I decided to keep it in the weighted period one more day.
Jefferson

Jefferson's Borage has not begun to sprout. Like Cantaloupe, it takes more time to emerge, but it grows quickly once it does. That's our update for day 1. Stay tuned for tomorrow's update.
There are the little sprouts... so happy to see my Arugula thriving! It is interesting to see how patchy it does look. I evenly spread out all the little seeds and there are places where they are not coming up. Perhaps I dispersed them when I watered afterwards? This is my first comment and I am not sure if I need to have an account or be a member, etc. We will see... I look forward to any updates, the Amazon link, and our second class and harvest on April 3rd! What a fun workshop! ~ Ingrid 🌱💗🌱
